Initially just a small claim; Everything goes, as long as it’s about music! There can be no wrong, no bad, no talent-less …, well one simply cannot have prejudices against music, whatever kind. You might not like it, if so don’t turn it into politics, just leave it alone… That goes for music that has a political purpose or message as well I’d say. You might criticize the message or the people that associate themself with some sort of music, but not the music as such!
I like most genres, but I especially dig into chilled jazzy downtempo/uptempo ambient stuff with a modern touch. Some of my favourites are frontrunners like ‘Nightmares on Wax’, ‘Nuspirit Helsinki’, ‘dZihan & Kamien’ etc etc that so successfully combine old school soul, jazz, pop and chill with a contemporary sound and feel. But that’s not all of course; I enjoy most music and try to find influences all around the plate of genres. For example, I can dig into old jazz classics like ‘Herbie Hancock’ as well as contemporary everyday-stuff within Trance and Dance, etc. Like for example this summer when I heard ‘Robert Miles’ already classic song “Children”, it inspired my to produce “Every thought has been thought”, which is the first track on the album “Urban Flavors”.
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was engaged in some bands in the early years, but mainly been producing my own stuff. I am based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
